🔹 The Karpenter
Also known by his stage name Listenzik and the DELKT Formation, is a music producer, live performer, and DJ based in Montreal. He has been a prominent figure in the electronic music scene for over a decade, with a repertoire of more than 20 albums and numerous performances to his credit.
His unique sound, which he describes as “primitive and powerful,” blends tribal techno and progressive elements. His passion for music production began in 2003, and he quickly made a name for himself in the electronic music scene in Montreal.
Some of his musical influences include James Holden, Robin Hertz, Drunken Kong, and Christian Smith.
Having participated in festivals such as Panorama, Timeless Festival, UPPSALA, and Par Amour, Karpenter has proven his ability to captivate audiences with his unique sound and showmanship. His music has been signed to labels such as Trapez, Natura Viva Black, Born2Porn, Crosstech Records, CueDigital, and Eresys Record, alongside some of the industry’s biggest names, including Ulrich Vanbell, Maceo Plex, Carl Cox, Monika Kruse, Pig & Dan, and Sed Aria.
The Karpenter’s devotion to his craft and his ability to create powerful and memorable performances are a testament to his passion for electronic music and his commitment to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the genre.
